The Library And Reading Room

 

The Library is situated on the first floor of administrative wing and besides the academic progress of the students, it aims to provide optimum help to lay special emphasis on extra - curricular activities and sports events which is the core eoncern of the college.


The college library is a rich resource centre providing services and facilities to meet the requirements of the students and the staff. The library has text books on all subjects, latest reference books, journals, periodicals, newspapers and magazines. There are a large number of books and journals in Hindi, Marathi and English. The reference collection in the library includes dictionaries, directories, reports, encyclopaediae , CDs and audio- visual cassettes. The College is an Institutional member of the British Council Library, American Centre Library and the Bombay Natural History Society. Free internet facility is provided for both students and staff members. A large number of books on career guidance and competitive examinations have been included. Reprographic facilities are available in the Library.

 
  • College Library today has a collection of needy 2000 useful volumes, along with periodicals weeklies and news papers.
  • Books are issued to a student of the College against his/her library membership card for a period of seven days. The periodicals; weekly and newspapers are not find out.
  • This is a catalogue for consultation to acquire a book of one's choice.
  • Reading room faclities are available for the staff and students on all working days, between 8-00 a.m. to 12-00 Noon.
  • Text books are available for reading in the library during working hours only.
  • The expiry date of a borrowors card is 30th March on the academic session.
